I just got the bill for my first office visit with my new internist at UCSF (The Uncommunicative Center of Stolid Forgetfulness) - $455! That means my doctor earns $21,840/day - without overtime! How much more would it have cost if he had actually done anything! Next visit, I want an extra kidney.
